How to fund and pay for Telegram Ads in 2026: payment options

In this guide

How you fund Telegram Ads depends on how the ad account was opened. Direct accounts follow Telegram’s own payment flow. Provider-managed accounts follow that provider’s terms. Before paying, confirm the account currency, how much will become spendable ad balance and the total amount charged after fees.

The common mistake is to treat every balance as the same pot of money. Funds may sit with the provider, in the ad account or in an individual ad’s allocated budget. Those are different stages.

What kinds of Telegram Ads accounts are there?

For practical planning, distinguish direct access, provider access and managed agency work. This describes the relationship—not every product version Telegram or a partner may offer.

RouteHow it worksWhat to check before paying
Direct accountSign in through Telegram’s ad platformCurrency, available formats and funding conditions
Provider accountOperate under a service provider’s termsFees, exchange rate, billing records, access and refunds
Agency managementA team helps launch and run campaignsWho owns the account and who can see the data

An agency may use the same provider that an advertiser can access directly. “Agency account” alone does not tell you the payment method or available settings. Ask for the exact terms.

Telegram’s public guide describes Toncoin funding. Some providers, including eLama in its published documentation, offer euro-denominated ad accounts. Paying a provider in another currency does not necessarily change the ad account currency.

How can you pay for Telegram Ads through us?

  1. Tell us what you are promoting, which markets you target and where people should land: a channel, a bot or a website.
  2. We propose a test plan and budget. The minimum ad budget is about €625.
  3. You pay by personal card or by invoice to a sole trader or company.
  4. We fund the ad account, prepare the ads and take them through review.
  5. We launch the campaign and report what was spent and what it delivered.

Before you pay, we show how much goes to impressions and how much covers funding fees and management.

How do you fund a provider-managed account?

  1. Confirm that the correct ad account exists and you can access it.
  2. Check minimum payment, account currency, conversion rate and additional fees.
  3. Fund the provider balance using an available payment method.
  4. If required, transfer the amount from that balance to the chosen Telegram Ads account.
  5. Compare the credited amount with the estimate shown before payment.
  6. Allocate money to ads and check their status.

Buttons and step count vary. Use the calculation in your own funding screen for this payment, not a price quoted in an old article or promotion.

Keep the payment confirmation and credited-balance calculation. If your business runs several projects, verify the account ID before transferring money; similar account names are not enough.

How do you fund a direct account?

Open Telegram’s official advertising platform and select the account you intend to use. The public guide calls its funds section “Manage Budget”. Follow the payment instructions shown inside your current account.

Never send funds to an address copied from somebody else’s screenshot or message. If a wallet connection is requested, check the network, amount and transaction destination before confirming.

For a company, work out the required billing documents and staff access in advance. Direct access is not automatically better if it prevents your team from managing the account or accounting for the spend.

What amount will actually reach your ad balance?

Compare providers using the amount credited to ads and the total cost of getting it there. Show campaign-management fees separately if they are included in an agency quote.

For a simple hypothetical example, you want €300 in the ad account. A 15% fee calculated on that amount adds €45, so you need €345 before any other charges. That is arithmetic, not a provider tariff.

A provider with a lower headline fee may still cost more after conversion or service charges. Ask each one to quote the same €300 credited balance. For the wider picture, see our Telegram Ads cost guide.

Why is the ad not running after payment?

Locate the funds first. Your payment may have reached the provider but not the ad account. Or the account may be funded while the particular ad has no budget allocated.

If the balance is in place, check the ad status. Review, rejection and zero impressions call for different actions. Another deposit will not fix rejected copy or broaden an overly narrow audience.

For support, collect the account ID, payment date and amount, receipt and balance screenshot. Hide personal or payment details that are not needed. Never send a password or sign-in code.

Can you withdraw unused funds?

Do not assume every remaining balance is refundable. Withdrawal terms, deductions and timing depend on the access route. Ask separately about funds inside Telegram Ads, funds with the provider and fees already paid—ideally before the first deposit.

Which route should you choose for a first campaign?

Make a short list of essential requirements. One project may need website links; another may need company invoices and a handover-friendly reporting setup. If an agency manages the campaign, agree who can access the data and how the account is transferred later.
